As our clinic administrator, Doug uses his extensive problem-solving abilities to effectively oversee all operational functions of Brewer Dental Center. He enjoys the energy-filled dynamic of working in such a fast-paced environment; spending time with our energetic team keeps him young and active!
Doug’s free time is generally spent playing golf.
Pier earned her business degree from University of Montana with an emphasis in management and marketing. She joined our office in 2006 and helps our patients make a plan towards getting their treatment scheduled, financed, and fully accomplished. She loves working with our team because of our shared passion for creating a place where patients of all ages can get exceptional care.
Pier is married with two grown step children. She enjoys bow hunting, skiing, and playing golf in her free time.
Marketing & Events Director
Ashley is responsible for idea generation and ad creation/placement to acquire new patients and maintain existing patients. Since Brewer Dental Center is heavily involved in the community, Ashley has her hands full with planning, executing, and overseeing all Brewer Dental Center seminars and events. She also gets to use her creativity to produce commercial, radio, and billboard campaigns! Ashley graduated from MSU Billings with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management in 2011, and completed her Certificate in Medical Coding and Insurance Billing in 2012.
Dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, Ashley is grateful for her position and all she has learned from the culture here at Brewer Dental Center. She loves the passion and dedication each of team member contributes to Brewer Dental Center’s success.
At home, Ashley is blessed with the most amazing little boy named Jaxon. She also has a little Yorkie named Brodie. Ashley loves hiking and being outdoors in the sunshine!
Kim Gililland, CDA
Education & Development Director
As a member of our team since 2005, Kim has played an important role in several areas of our practice. Beginning as a hygiene assistant, and quickly rose in the ranks due to her exceptional clinical and organizational skills. Over the years, she has been an Assistant, Team Leader, Clinical Team Leader, Clinic Director and our Assistant Team Trainer.
Now, in her role as Education & Development Director, Kim plays an even bigger part in the development of our team. She creates classes for team members to increase their knowledge and techniques in dental care and provides training to assistants who wish to become nationally recognized Certified Dental Assistants. She also works to develop systems and protocols that not only make us good at what we do, but also make it easier for new additions to our organization. In addition, Kim creates and develops new and exciting opportunities for Brewer Dental Center outside of our four walls, which includes training other dental offices around the United States to implement the “Brewer Way” of operating.
Kim is a Billings girl, born and raised, and is proud to say Montana will always be her home. She enjoys her time with friends or family hiking with their dogs, going to basketball games, or hanging out at the racetrack. Kim loves to travel and see the world, and every year, she finds a new destination or returns to a favorite spot to spend her down time scuba diving and exploring the underwater world. For Kim, there is nothing more relaxing than the silence underwater with only the sound of bubbles.
Pennie joined Brewer Dental Center in 2013, bringing with her more than 24 years of experience in the dental field. Her role involves managing the working schedule for all the hygienists at BDC. She also interviews potential new employees and makes hiring decisions with the clinic administrator for the hygiene department. Her exceptional organization skills allow our hygienists to focus on what’s really important: our patients! Pennie has made our hygiene department truly phenomenal.
Pennie and her husband Randy have two beautiful daughters, Kailey and Lexi. They also own a family business, Billings Construction Supply. Pennie and her family love to travel, take vacations in their motor home, camp, and ride ATVs with friends and family.
Heights Clinic Director
Tricia graduated from MSU-Bozeman and has been a part of our team since 2006. As the director of one of our clinics, she manages the schedule, calculates collections, and works with the rest of our employees to maintain a great working environment. Tricia meets all challenges head-on, and never takes for granted our team’s dedication to working together toward achieving success.
Tricia and her husband Paul have been married for over 30 years. They have one daughter, Lindsie, who is a nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital, working on the cardiac telemetry floor. They also have one dog, Daisy, and two cats, CC and Sunny. The family loves to spend time outdoors camping, fishing, going to their cabin, and playing golf. Tricia has also been a member of “Sister on the Fly” for three years.
Orthodontic & Pediatric Center Clinic Director
Shelby’s role in our office consists of overseeing the orthodontic and pediatric clinic, answering questions for employees, and responding to all patient concerns or questions. In addition, she also oversees the BDAP program and is our HIPAA compliance officer. Shelby became a member of our team in 2012 and has learned a lot about dentistry since starting here. Her favorite thing, of course, is getting to know our patients. She enjoys being able to help them achieve the smile they have always wanted.
In her free time, Shelby and her husband Arley love to go fishing, hunting, and ride dirt bikes. She is also a 4-H leader and loves riding her horses Frosty and Slim. She also has a Boston terrier named Moto.
West Clinic Director
Joining our team in 2013, Amanda is responsible for office production, productivity, patient care, and accountability of staff. Her passion for patient interaction shows when solving insurance problems, and her commitment to our office is reflected in the team-oriented environment she helps to create.
Amanda takes pride in being a part of a practice that is always growing, learning, and striving to provide the best possible care. She is honored to work for such an exceptional organization with wonderful doctors and team members.
Amanda has two children, Gabriella, and Kaydyn, and five four-legged kids: four English bulldogs named Boot, Rudy, Jax, and Gruffy and a Dachshund named Brutus. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart Richard for eight years. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities, which include camping, hiking, and relaxing on the lake.
Lamplighter Dental Clinic Director
Ciera joined the Brewer Dental Center team in 2013. She keeps us all focused on each patient’s experience while here, making sure our doctors and staff have everything needed to make the visit go seamlessly, including efficient scheduling, team productivity, and insurance coordination. Ciera goes out of her way to make sure our patients’ visits are positive and comfortable. Her helpful attitude is such an asset to our team.
When she’s not in the office, Ciera keeps busy with her two children Elijah and Roman, the family dog Ava, and a cat named Klarence. She enjoys crafting of all kinds, especially canvas painting, sewing, and drawing.
Human Resources Director
As Brewer Dental Center grows its business, we want to grow our employees as well. Andrew’s role is to ensure that we have an organization where employees feel as valued as our customers feel and continue to see this as the best place to build their career in dentistry. He is dedicated to removing the obstacles that impede both individual and organizational performance and success.
Andrew earned a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, and an M.B.A. in Marketing, Strategy & Business Analysis from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He holds a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification and is working towards a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification as well.
Andrew is a native Vermonter and was raised in Western Massachusetts. He is a member of Stillwater County Economic Development and Planning committees and is proud to support Project Hope and the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Andrew’s wife Jeni is a dedicated and hard-working equine veterinary technician. Their house is also home to two dogs, two cats, three horses, and seven chickens. They enjoy spending their free time backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing among the many beautiful mountains of Montana.
